The best dog story I ever read
MAGIC (Dog Mysteries) (Kindle Edition)
For a long time "Watchers" by Dean R Koontz was the best story I ever read with a dog in it. But this ripping full tilt adventurous story blew it out of the water! It sounded like it really was comming from the point of veiw of a dog with human intelligence. And it was breakneck non-stop speed for the first part. I think I was one quarter through the book before it slowed down for a second and I took a full breath! I highly recomend this book for anyone, even if you are not into "dog" books. I especially recomend it for people who like adventures, military stories, dog owners, police, detectives, spy and mystery books. It will not disappoint! PS. Just so you know that I'm not alone on this high opinion of this book, I lent my kindle to a Marine veteran who works at my job so he could read it, and he came back raving about it too.
I feel in love with Magic.
Every time I had to stop reading, I could not wait to get back to that book. Very well written, filled with suspense and adventure, you cannot help but falling in love with Magic, and his owner, makes you wish you could communicate with your dog the way Magic communicates with people and you will never look at your dog the same way again, very unlike most of the dog books I have read. This story is Magic.
This is not just a dog lover's book although I am sure every dog lover would love this tale. It has the intense excitement of an action thriller. It gives the reader a view of our modern soldiers and some of the problems they face.
A very moving story I will remember for a long time. Have a supply of tissues for this book.
