The life of 17 year old Sterling Wayfairer is far from perfect. Between juggling his mentally ill mother, his unstable nightmares and his long term crush who barely knows he's alive, Sterling decides for himself that this will be his last year to stay invisible.  When a recent stray of missing kids makes a visit to his school, he begins to take notice of an odd classmate who's beautiful but carries a daunting presence around her.

Unusual things seem to happen when she's around but outside of himself no one seems to notice her or even recall how long she's been enrolled at their school.Things begin to take an eerie turn, when during a week long suspension he catches his mysterious classmate breaking and entering into his humble abode. Through a unique birthmark Sterling discovers he and his extraordinary classmate, Tetra, are spiritually linked and are from a foreign land called Noba where it's inhabitants are able to manipulate time and travel to other worlds.
