Lots of action and intrigue throughout and totally kept me on my toes from page to page. Mr. Turner has character building down to a fine art and this book is no exception. I felt the underdog blossom into a hero right before my eyes, it was fantastic. I would highly recommend this book to anyone that loves military books with a twist, cause this one has some good ones!!
Good action story
Although a futuristic sci-fi story, the story is very much relatable to today's world involved in war. We follow the hero, a 22 year old military academy grad, as he takes in his first command and mission while seeing action for the first time. We see him grow in many different ways as the good guys struggle to survive. This was a well written story, and I found it entertaining . I liked the book (even though one of the characters I liked was killed off). I recommend this series.
