The Kingdom of God is the concept into which all other Biblical themes must fit. The Kingdom defines reality, value, authority, righteousness, justice, joy and even evil. Even though the idea of the Kingdom is a consistent theme throughout the Scriptures, there are diversities of meanings and applications. Because of these differences, there is a diversity of opinions and even controversy surrounding the nature and implications of the Kingdom. 

In this work, there is an effort to explore the relationship that exists between the various conceptions of the Kingdom of God and the attitude and behavior of the redeemed communities. The belief that God is the Creator, Organizer and Maintainer of all things; that He is involved in human affairs; that He has made known His purposes and intentions; and that there can be an acceptable human response to such revelation should influence the objectives and priorities of the redeemed communities in their stewardship responsibilities of the earth.
