Private detective Constance investigates the death of a young porn starlet named Veronica Red, while an unhinged director tries to create the most perverse pornographic movie ever conceived.
Constance is hired by Stephen to investigate the death of his ex-girlfriend and porn star Veronica Red. Soon the lines between sex, love, lust and desire become blurred as he digs into her life, who she was with, and who she 'did'.
Meanwhile, a director is creating the most extreme 'porn' film imaginable; the final scene is planned to depict an actress playing a dead Veronica Red.
A satire, comedy and study on what sex is, 'the pornography' forces the question: how will our society change with our sexuality.

When I was young, after school I would run home. My mom was at her second job around then, so I didn't have to rush. I would close the blinds and go into her closet and get one of her sun hats with those fruit basket displays on top. It wasn't anything like that, don't get to thinking ahead. And I would get one of my dad's old jackets: one of those shoulder pad numbers with pockets big enough for grapefruits.
Then, in the living room, I would set the phone up on the coffee table and light one of my mom's cigarettes. I just let it burn in my hand; then, I would say, 'The phone!' and pick it up quick. 'Detective,' I would say and everyday it was different. A murder, a theft: I was on that case and I would hang up and go around my house, dusting the counter tops with flour, opening up drawers, going under my mom's bed.
