I was sucked into this series from the first novel and cannot put it down. Whenever I have a free chance I am reading these to see what happens next. Great characters and a great plot.

Twists and turns you don't expect. Edge of your seat thrills! Really enjoyed the whole series so far. Can't wait for the rest of them!
The Sockets
John Francis and his small group are "welcomed" to the castle by Darren Oliver. They do not trust this elderly man but are not sure of the reason. Gwyneth is able to sense the presence of the "sockets" and says they are not nearby.
Nick is fighting for his life on the other front. Plenty of gore and grisly scenes in this one which will keep your attention!
An outstanding ending to this one which was entirely unexpected by me.
The fortunate inherit riches, prestige, positive notoriety. Those not so lucky bear legacies filled with poverty, infamy or, worse yet, the unhinged insanity and murderous urges of their ancestors.
