Humanity has been scattered to the galaxy’s edge by a cruel and scheming alien force. The Ch’Tauk Empire has declared that humans will be the new slave class and any remaining military forces will be hunted down and exterminated. Frightened and alone, the remnants of Terra’s Children are being rounded up and sold on the black market’s of worlds they had never imagined.

Lee Pearce and the crew of the Battleship Resolute are also on a mission. They have been sent to find a missing scientist who may hold the key to retaking planet Earth. They will have to go deep into the underbelly of the galaxy, rescuing refugees and fighting off the forces of the Empire to succeed.

Along the way, they will ally themselves with alien races, pirates, and a lost fleet of Terran Confederation warships in their mission to restore a human race that may need saving from itself.
