Feel-good story with a sound moral
At the beginning of this story, Landon is frightened by the dragon and is then bullied by his peers. With the encouragement of a new friend, Landon summons up the courage to face his fears.

This book is well written, with a feel-good story, and a sound moral. The story is further enhanced by the cute and colorful illustrations by Karen Dishaw.

Definitely one to share with your children, especially young boys.

I think that a child's view of this book is most important and my son loved it. When I said "the end" he said "ooooo again, again. I like the book so much"


My little boy's new hero
Searching, yet again, for a new bed-time story I could tell my four n' a half year old son, I was delighted to find "Landon and the Dragon". I don't know if that's the right way to do it or not, but my way of picking a story for my kid is to read it myself first, and see whether I like it or not. So I took one look at the sample, got excited with the beautiful drawings, and decided to go for it. Well, what can I say... this one really took me by surprise. It's a beautiful story about a boy who learns how to feel safe without having to be protective all the time. Very relevant to this day and age, no doubt, and always relevant for our little ones, who are busy finding their place in the world from an early age. It's a wonderful and optimistic adventure that will make your children (and probably you as well) go to sleep with a smile.
