Rough Drafts: Bumpy Writing is OK (Writing is a Process) (Volume 3) by Terri Kelley is the third part of the series on how to write a rough draft. A girl is watching a stormy night. She is putting down the words that come into her mind. The book tells the reader the importance of having a brainstorming session, a rough draft, and finally an editing session before actually writing a book and the importance of it.

The book is very educational. The illustrations are absolutely stunning and they complement the words very well and make the book even more attractive. The pictures are so vibrant and full of life. It's an ideal book for children who are trying to get into writing. It teaches them the importance of putting down the words that come to mind while observing, and then working on it. Brainstorming, rough drafts, editing etc., they all contribute to the success of a good book. The book tells the reader how to give importance to detailing because that is what makes the story grow. You actually do not miss anything if you first put down all the details on paper before writing.

I recommend this to every child. It is such an eye opener on how to introduce a child to writing and how they should go about developing their ideas and thoughts, and putting them on paper.
