Most of us, at one time or another, have cried out to God or to an unknown Creator. Think of the man sitting in a foxhole during WWII, almost out of ammunition, the enemy close to attacking. What goes through his mind? Think of a Father, sitting at the bedside of his daughter, watching as she suffers through the night because of an illness. What goes through his mind? Think of a Mother tossing and turning in her sleep fretting over sending her son off to war. What goes through her mind?
Yes, at some point in life we will cry out, looking skyward with both the understanding and assurance that God is there or in hopes that something, anything, is out there.
For many, God is an unknown Creator. Others refer to God as their higher power or a spiritual force in nature. And some refuse to believe that God exists at all. There have been many discussions and disagreements with respect to whether God exists, who God is and what is meant by the Triune God. The Trinity: God in three persons.
For those of you who already believe in God an understand the Trinity, it is my desire that you would go deeper in your understanding.
It is my desire that those of you who don’t understand God, the Trinity, or refuse to acknowledge God at all, would allow your heart to remain open. Open to the possibility that there is a Creator and that He wants to reveal Himself to you through a spiritual revelation of His divine nature.
I assuredly offer this challenge, because I believe He does exist, and He is who He says He is. If you honestly ask Him to reveal Himself, He will not disappoint you.
