(5 stars) Could not put it down!
I read quite a bit and enjoy lots of books, but I feel that this book is exceptional for young readers. The vocabulary and imaginative writing combine with struggling but courageous characters to create a treasured story. The Owl Wrangler was good, but I liked this one even more. I keep checking Amazon to see if the next one is available...hopefully soon.

The Seldith (elves) continue to try to learn the truth and live by the truth. If its not written in the books of truth it must not be true. Can those who wish to twist the truth for their own gain win? William Vaughn second fantasy continues the story of Hisbil and his jorurney to the elven high council. Hisbil and his friends fight there way there but can the truth they bring overcome the corruption around them. Hisbil story continued to keep me glued to the pages as his story unfolded. I enjoyed the book and recommend it to my friend which enjoyed harry potter.

Where does this Vietnam-era combat helicopter pilot come up with such a imaginative story line? Wonderful stories, well told and impossible to put down. 'The Owl Wrangler' will introduce you to the Seldiths world, where your imagination will learn to fly again. 'Guardians' will expand their world as you find yourself cheering those that follow and protect the truth. Mr. Vaughn is a gifted storyteller who grips your attention from the first sentence and leaves you wanting more. I look forward to reading the final book of this wonderful trilogy.
