She had never told Victor how powerful she had made him. He didn't know half of his strength. Was it any wonder that his fledgling would be powerful as well? She had never thought she would go to Victor for help but she was running out of options. Other clans and covens were hearing about the troubles she was having with one escaped servant. Every night Mary spent alive was a slap in her face. It made her look weak and out of control. If she continued to appear beaten, then others would come for her. Morweena did not want to admit that she needed Victor to save her from her own mess.

Just gets better and better
OMG! My heart has nearly stopped. The drama of the 3 gorgeous women (2 vamps and a human) fighting over Victor is wild. This part has so much murder and mayhem, I will surely die if you don't release the next part soon. I picked this and the first part up for free, but they are well worth paying for.
Sexy read!
King really pulls you in with his writing talent! His style is poetic, yet filled with the tension of a fast-paced novella. I truly enjoyed every second of this hot and steamy read; every page had me wondering what was going to happen next. Aurelia gets to learn more about her lover's past life and romances, and so do we. Also, King surprises us with an oh so sexy scene with Morweena and a club girl...don't want to give too much away, but it is HOT. Like a phone call from a hot one-night stand, it leaves you feeling both satisfied and desperate!

Forsaken (Part 2, Tales Of An Immortal's Love Affair)was a delightful read. I am not a vampire book lover but a forum I belong to highly recommended this book and I have to admit that I loved it enough to go and get the first book in the series. The characters are well developed and the plot line easy to follow. This book is well worth your time and investment.
