Deep in space, like a mighty avenger, hung the pride of the Draconian navy. Next to its massive hull, the other dread not class cruisers of the imperial armada looked decisively unimpressive. Not only was the “Divine Dragon” bigger than the other ships, but it carried more armaments than any other ship ever made. Its guns were poised and trained at a point of light 12 degrees off center off the galactic rim. The target was a lone frigate, Kindra One, flagship of the Kindred Empire. Its destruction would provide us with a clear and uncontested path to the Kindred home world and to victory.
The Divine Dragon was in no particular hurry to finish off the enemy’s crippled, and only surviving warship.
