Toby the Border Collie is yet again the star of this delightful follow up to the first book in the series ‘Toby’s Tails.’
Although he is older now, he still takes the advice of his old mentor Lucky, the Golden Retriever and their bond is as strong as ever.
With his owner, the author, Susan Keefe he continues to discover the nature and wildlife around them at Fantasy Farm.
All the animals are still there from the first book in the series and there are also some new additions including rabbits, guinea fowl and a horse called Marine.
It is so entertaining to discover, through Toby’s eyes, the wonders of the natural world, and I couldn’t help myself but chuckle at Toby’s escapades, especially with the duckweed! But you’ll have to read the book to find out what I mean.
Full of delightful pictures of the real animals who live at Fantasy Farm, I think this book makes great reading for adults and children alike and I look forward to reading the next one in the series.

Perfect family seuel.
In Susan Keefe’s Toby’s Tales, Still Wagging, we go further into the world of Toby, where he now witnesses the wonders of bunnies, birds, and the miracle of birth. Mrs. Keefe once more draws the reader into the story through the first person narrative. I truly loved Toby’s Tales and found this sequel to be the perfect follow-up with the many adventures of our beloved four-legged friend. I likewise look forward to other books in the series and hope other readers discover her gems as well, especially for their little ones.

Having read the first in this series about the life and adventures of Toby the Border Collie – Toby’s Tails - it was sheer delight reading this second book in the series – Toby’s Tails Still Wagging.

Susan Keefe writes Toby’s story in his own voice which adds a hundredfold to the charm of these two books.

Toby is now a little older and a little wiser and quite caring toward his little friends like Lucky. He does though get a little impatient when Lucky sleeps a little too much.

I think that if our pets could express their thoughts in our human language then we will learn that they do indeed think like Toby.

A fan of this dog – I wish I need not call him a dog – I am looking forward to the third book in the series.

Like the first book this one too will be marvellous entertainment for a child, but adults, I know, will find it too a delightful read.
