If you want a read that has nothing of your average prose, you should try Halcyon Wings. If you're a reader with an open mind and the ability to take your time savoring the words and the meaning behind them, you might be pleasantly surprised. Nithin Purple is a non-native speaker, such as I am, being a Belgian(Flemish)novelist. That fact is a pro and a con in this lyrical text. The pro is the quality of the metaphors, which are regularly striking and elegant. The con is the fact that you have to do an effort to savor the cadence and the flow of the sentences, the exaltedness of this poetic text.
A sometimes deranging but also passionate reader's experience. For the connoiseurs.
