What does a monkey and circus have to do with a designer boutique featuring Paris fashions?
Olivia's life had just gotten back to normal after the death of her parents, when her beloved grandmother passed away. This was when her world began to turn upside down.
She would soon discover some shocking things about her family, especially her grandmother whom she had lived with for so many years and her sister had turned into someone different than the beautiful person that she thought she knew. She was even beginning to wonder how well she knew her best friend.
Olivia seemed to wake up one morning to a life that wasn't her own and nothing could have prepared her for the involvement she would have in a whirlwind international event.
Then there's the circus thing. Then to actually find a little bit of romance within all of the chaos was beyond anything she could have imagined.
This was too much for a small town girl to deal with.

She had never worn a designer dress like this before and wanted to see what it felt like. She slipped off her sweats and found one in her size and unzipped it, but as she was pulling the dress up she felt an uncomfortable bulge at the waistline. She assumed it contained sequins and beads and thought it was nice that extras were included. She started to just dismiss it, but when she felt the pouch, whatever was inside actually seemed larger than anything that was on the dress. At first she thought it felt like buttons, but there were no buttons on the dress either. Then she realized it was somewhat familiar. She suddenly felt a knot in the pit of her stomach. This had the same feeling as when she discovered what she thought were rhinestones in the small bag at the bottom of the sewing box. She took a deep breath as she went to the bathroom for the small pair of scissors that she kept there. She was shaking as she cut a small slit in the seam of the pouch and stood there for several minutes with her eyes closed as she poured the contents into her hand. She was afraid to open her eyes, as if their being closed would make a difference in what was actually there. Slowly opening her eyes, she saw the sequins and beads and the same rhinestones that she discovered in the sewing box. She again took a deep breath as she took them to her room and over to the dresser where she kept her hand mirror. She knew what was going to happen, but she scratched them on the mirror, anyway. She slumped to the floor in disbelief. "This can't be happening." She cried out loud. She sat there on the floor and broke into tears. This was just too much to deal with. After the tears stopped, she pulled herself up and went back to check the other dresses, knowing full well what she would find.
