Real World Guide to Happiness
Another wonderful and quick read by the author of “M is for Manners”. This book, Real World Guide to Happiness, is broken into short, simple paragraphs with topics sure to hit home for the average reader.
The author leads one on a personal expedition into the “self” in an honest, simple way; touching on subjects like “Accepting Yourself”, “Don’t Run Away”, “Temper Your Temper”, and others in a straightforward way.
Ms. Jesse clears the path for one to be able to see and to “stop and smell the roses”, something many of us don’t take the time to do. A great job done here, tackling a difficult set of subjects but also done with compassion, a ‘been there, done that’ type of personal experience that richly enhances the text.
This reviewer can’t wait for more of Ms. Jesse’s works to pop up, as they are certainly unexpected little gems, and well worth waiting for!-Diane Sewell October 2003
