I truly loved this book because it contains so much truth and wisdom about life. It is not just your ordinary children's book but it's a life dictator that explains that it's okay to be different and unique. A worthwhile read

The story concerns a little half-cat, half-bear named Squigmont Ross McNeil who is alone in the world, as no one wants to be his friend. One day he befriends a purple cat and they quickly form a friendship. That is basically the thrust of the short story, but the message is clear: find that which is good, no matter what it looks like, a worthwhile message to teach any child--or adult for that matter.
The artwork is simple, rudimentary even, but it underscores the simplicity and charm of this little story. A worthwhile read.

Great Child's Book
This is an adorable child's book which I bought for my grandson. It takes some talent to write and illustrate a child's book and Linie Sherrod has done a great job. I recommend this book for any child.
