Shelby is a riveting story about a young girl’s journey to find where she belongs. Left with her pedophiliac stepfather at a young age, Shelby has to escape or become a lifelong victim. As she searches to find the secrets of her past, she finds only lies. Discovering that the woman she thought was her mother was actually her kidnapper, she sets her sights on finding her true family.
Shelby’s journey is exciting, heartbreaking and wonderfully written. The unexpected emotions this book will stir in you will make your head spin. You will root for Shelby as she searches for the truth that will change her life forever.
I would recommend this book to anyone. It’s truly a tale for all humanity. Sweet, heartfelt, soulful, enthralling and sincere, this story is a MUST READ and I expect it will go far. I will definitely be looking for more work from this author. Bravo.


Touching and emotional tale of longing to reach your real home and family
This was a gift, and I had no idea what it might be like. It turned out to be a delightful read, a sort of searching for one's home and roots story. The tale revolves about a girl, kidnapped and raised by a woman and her evil, molesting live in guy. The fake mom dies when Shelby is 13, and forces the young one to flee, unwilling to stay and continue being a victim. Informed of the truth in a letter, she sets out, and accumulates some odd and interesting companions on her journey. Her travel from Wyoming to Florida to reach her old home is hair raising, of the oh my God, oh my God, don't let them get you sort! I wanted to yell at book at times, as she survived one scrap after another. Its a really touching story. It could have gotten deeper into her past and emotions, but all in all it's a fine tale. The book would be suitable for anyone from 13 or so on up.

Captivating Story!
Glenn's story about the heartbreaking childhood of Shelby is riveting. You follow along as Shelby runs for her life, all the while experiencing terrifying nightmares, brought on by her past. The story needs another round of editing, but it does not interfere with the captivating story.

Glenn did an excellent job of showing you the fear and pain this little girl goes through. As stated, heartbreaking, but with the help of her guardian angel, she just might make it home. Looking forward to more writing by this author.
