Epic
The epic tale of friendship, adventure and magic beings is back and bigger than ever. McLeod is bringing it back with more trolls and more action. A vengeful witch and a shape shifting creature could be the match for Peter and George but with a powerful army on their side can they survive?
You can't afford to miss this book, aimed at ages 8+, the book is easy to read yet full of twists and turns older people will enjoy. The first book proved to a be a hit and this second instalment is sure to leave you wanting more. Whether you're reading it alone or to someone else you'll be gripped and won't want to put it down.
I really love these books, they're easy to read, exciting and action packed. McLeod doesn't miss out the story or the character development though, there's time for both in this book. Throughout the series you will see Peter and George grow into their roles and use teamwork to stick together. It's a great book for children, outlining the need for friendship and teamwork in tough situations but doing it inside an epic fantasy adventure
fantastic follow up
Love how the Masters Revenge picks up seamlessly from where the Vikings Apprentice ended. No time for Peter or George to enjoy their holiday as they are pitched back into another battle with The Master and her new ally. Cliffhanging ending leaves you wanting to know what happens next. Roll on book three.

I bought the 2 books in the series for my 8 year old. He is a typical boy and has to be prompted to read. He has never been a "harry Potter" fan and preferred Dairy of a wimpy kid and gangster granny type books. He loves Vikings and mystery type adventures so thought this would capture his imagination.
Well forget my son...I loved it! The books are well written, full of adventure and the characters and settings very easy to imagine.
As for my son he found them easy to read as the layout of the book is a slightly larger print and the line spacing makes it less daunting for young or less confident readers.
This writer is one to watch. If you struggle to get your kids to read...buy this. They will love it!
