An infirmary isn't what one would expect in a magical world. There weren't any gadgets or electrodes affixed to your body. Needles, blood draws, anesthesia, blood pressure cuffs, stethoscopes and the whole gambit of medical devices and machines were non-existent. Sure, there was an assortment of beds which accommodated anyone's size, and there were nurses and doctors that check on your condition, but that's where the similarities ended.
I am Arcadis Ander Gildeon, a sorcerer. I have just been through hell and back when a friend of mine showed up at my antique shop bleeding all over my floor. I used my red primary magic to transport us to the infirmary, which was housed on the main floor of the Convocation. I looked around and most of the beds were occupied. When I probed my friend, Topec, I found to my amazement, there was a war being waged between the primary colored powered beings, which were red, blue and yellow colors, and the secondary or diluted powers. Jackson was leading the revolt. The purple powered sorcerer, Jackson, sliced Topec's arm when he refused to join the conflict. Topec was a Regulator. A simple comparison would be a policeman in the regular world. He and the remaining thirty-seven out of one hundred Regulators from the United States were of secondary power, but they swore allegiance to the three primary powered beings that comprised the Convocation. The most senior member on the board was my mother, who was red powered.
