Rallying up hundreds upon hundreds of diverse colored powered sorcerers within twenty-four hours was going to be a daunting and arduous task. Never before had the opportunity arisen which required any sorcerer or Regulator to call up and mobilize its warriors to do battle with other magical powered beings. Lord Quill had seen to that. His excursion in 1665 to Berlin had prevented skirmishes from the warlocks and wizards from becoming an all out war.
I am Arcadis Ander Gildeon, and I am a red powered sorcerer, and I am the Overseer of the Regulators, an elite group of secondary powers whose sole job is to protect the primary colored powered beings. Especially the Convocation, which comprised the three most senior members of the red, blue, and yellow power bases. The person in charge was my mother, a primary red power. She had forged into the wizard's lair to find our missing Regulators and a Chronicler. Apparently she had been captured as well. I found that disturbing because I didn't think the wizards were that powerful or had the guts to try.
I knew very little about Anala, the king of the wizards. The book of spells that had been singed into my brain while battling a rebel named Jackson, spoke very little about him.
All I knew with certainty was that I was ordered to amass the primaries and secondaries in case we failed in our mission and a war broke out. But I had no intention of failing. They had my mother, and friends, an unacceptable predicament.
Born of their seeds, kingdom will rise against kingdom, one will hold great mysteries, one will turn the tide and one will not be bound. War is fought, not only on the field but also within the mind. Nothing is what it seems take nothing for granted.
