Life at times can be bitter and we can agree at times we have felt like we were biting on lemons. Nevertheless, expirencing the bitterness in life is not our final outcome. When we allow Christ into our lives we are transformed one lemon at a time.

This devotional is the result of brokenness. While sitting in the car one day when I noticed that there was broken glass all around me. To the untrained eye that is all that was there, but to a glassblower or someone who works with glass, that broken glass represented a new creation. A master craftsman can take the broken glass and melt it down and recast it to make something more beautiful. That is what Christ does with us. When we become broken, he is able to recast us into an image of his dear son.

Delicious Lemonade!
I purchased this dymanic book from the author, Melanie Deeds, in person June of 2011. How to Make Lemonade is a tremendous teaching tool and was quite inspiritional for me. Since purchase of the book I have read it three times to make sure I was able to gleen all the nuggets inside! Melanie Deeds took a very simple adage and turned it into healing for many that have and are suffering life changes with a twist, and not sure how to handle them. This book has provided healing for the soul, and transformation through the blood of Jesus! Melanie Deeds is an author that makes you sit on the edge of your seat in great anticipation of the next book she will write! Thank you Melanie for all the hard work and dedication you've exercised for the emotional healing of the Lord's people!
