The first book in The Modules series featuring the brilliant, quirky, and highly unruly and hilarious Catina Salsbury as she embarks on her journey through the Modules.
My life wasn't bad and my future seemed promising . . . until the Reform. Following 6th grade graduation, the State took over our guardianship and our education, taking us from the only homes wed ever known. I had the 2nd highest IQ in the global nation for ages 12 to 18. I was the prodigy they were looking for to be the very image of promoting The Modules. My personality, on the other hand, was a problem. I'd tested Purple, my twin sister Pink, in an environment where like stayed with like. They underestimated me, though. I would stop at nothing to keep us together and protect her. I wouldn't stop fighting the tests' makers, and I would not be controlled, until they gave me what I wanted. I underestimated them, though, too, because apparently they would stop at nothing either, to manipulate and experiment on me to find a means to break me, and I was in for a very big surprise.

Great Book
The author did a great job at plotting the characters and flow of the story. I really had a great time reading it cover to cover. There was something about the characters that made them feel so real. Reading through pages makes me feel as if I was right there with them, the author brought me into another dimension where I was sitting and seeing everything unfold in my eyes. The book had something so captivating that captured my attention right from the first few pages hooking me and leaving me intrigued until the end. I'd hate to giveaway anything because it'd be a shame to put a great book in a complete waste. However this book is definitely worth every minute reading. Two thumbs up for the author!
Waiting for Book 2!
I love how the story goes like sci-fi, suspense and surprising! It was totally not like the ordinary. Unique type of story that you are looking forward for more! While I'm reading it, I can't stop but to feel it page by page. I so much love the story! Great! Highly recommended.
Original and Imaginative
This is a wonderfully original and imaginative story that really keeps you guessing. It's actually pretty difficult to say much without giving the story away and completely ruining the book for other readers but I will say that it's well written with great characters that are very believable in their actions and reactions. While the story moves along at a reasonable pace, enough time is taken to set the scene and introduce the various characters. Their aims and motivations are made clear through the use of descriptive writing and clever dialogue which flows well and doesn't feel stilted. All in all I would definitely recommend this book and am looking forward to reading more and hopefully having some unanswered questions addressed.
Selkie's lonely heart has finally found a home with Aidan. But sometimes destiny compels us to love, and sometimes it forbids us...suspenseful, romantic, and spellbinding.
The sequel to Goalden Girl. Gemma's school football team is well-established. Her young step-sister Portia is also becoming a promising player, until an accident changes her life forever
