Excerpt

Introduction

We all want more than we currently have and depending where you are in your life, we go through phases of questioning our life, our experiences and evaluating where we are.

Perhaps you are hunting for more adventure, experiences and more time for yourself and family. What are you missing in life and what do you really want?

You have come here because you are interested in new adventures of living overseas. This book will answer your questions about where to begin, what to expect and if this is for you.

Welcome to your Escape Plan, whether your plan is this year, next year or perhaps later in life. This valuable guide of teaches the steps to make your plan a reality.

Who said you have to wait until retirement age before you can start living? If you are retired, close to retirement, in your thirties, forties or fifties, this book is for you. Even if you are twenties, there is valuable information contained within.

This book was written by people who were in the same circumstances, yearning for more out of life. We have been fortunate to live in many countries around the world and to experience life most people only dream of.

This book contains the lessons we learned the hard way, our mistakes, and what we would have done different. We share our secrets for making the transition smooth. We are sharing the same process that many people have used when deciding to undertake the adventure of living in a foreign country and to experience life.

In the back of this book, we have included a Resource Links Section for more information to help you achieve the adventure which most people only dream about.

To quote Les Brown, “It’s Possible”. The only thing that holds us back is our fear of the unknown. Granted, living overseas is not for everyone, but if you have ever thought what it would be like to live in South America, Asia, or anyplace else, it’s possible. You just need the right plan which is the reason for writing this book.

There is a saying
Fail to Plan is Planning to Fail

This was a great read, very informative and well written. I have been living in asia for a number of years now and this book is a must for anyone thinking of moving here, especially if you want a little less stress doing it. Looking forward to the next book. (hoping there will be one at least)

As I am planning to relocate overseas, this ebook came in handy. It opened my mind on what I should prepare or consider before packing all my stuff. The template/exercises is a good monitoring tool for me to assess how a person is ready. One takeaway from the book is want vs need especially if one is dealing about financing the "escape." I will surely read this book over and over again to remind me why I need to prepare really well before leaving my current home base. Very good guide and very useful.
