Deals are still made with a handshake in Ridge Creek, a town where everyone knows where you live, where pretty is just plain pretty, and fun is kicking up your heels as often as you possibly can.
This is a funny novel. This is a poignant novel. It is boisterous and yet quiet, and runs along the veins of “The Secret Life of Bees” and “Fried Green Tomatoes.” It is a victory dance.

Hannah's House!
Loved the story this book told about the strength that Hannah showed in all her ups and downs as she started a new life for herself. Billy Bob and the ghosts and the other characters made this a very entertaining book. I couldn't wait to turn the page to see what was next for Hannah. I highly recommend this book.
A True to Life Story of Love and Loss and Starting Over
Hannah will tug at your heart as you watch her pick up the pieces of her shattered life. If you have ever known someone who started over, you will root for her from beginning to end. The simplicity of her life will make you question your own materialism. A great read.
Another Great Story
I have read all of MaryAnn's books and look forward to the next. As I pick up each new story, I know that I'm not going to want to put it down and this was the case with Hannah's Home. The ending was a bit of a surprise but was uniquely Hannah and I only wish there was a sequel to this book because I'm dying to know how the rest of her life plays out. The characters feel like "family" and I want to know more!
