As her frustration grows, Steven’s infatuation with himself and his new position ramps up, and Desiree has had enough. If he doesn’t tone it down, she just might lose it. She didn’t leave her children and husband behind for this. She must do something now, but will her bold move hurt or help the situation? A sudden flood incident had destroyed Inner City Ant Colony, leaving them without a home. The day the flood happened; none would have guessed such calamity would befall their colony. The ants had woken up that morning going about their daily activities in high spirits. The sun had shone on them, and their skies were clear with no sign of what was to come.

I can relate to this work humor. Have one on my current place of employment. Overall, it was a very funny short story. Enjoyed the ending.
