INFORMATION FROM THE INTRODUCTION:
No single book (or, should I say rather, no one volume commentary) could ever hope to be exhaustive on an entire letter by Paul. These letters by him (of whom, in my opinion, was the greatest biblical teacher outside of Jesus) were designed to be extremely informative. And, so they are. However, and even so, this book is, as I’ve just said, not exhaustive on the entire subject matter of Romans. But, still, there is a lot here! . . . As far back as 2013 (10 years ago), I had attempted to write a commentary on Romans, but it just wasn't yet time, and the project had dropped in favor of other writings of mine – which ended up becoming books in my own, personal Christian Theology book teaching series, called the “Seeking the Everlasting Gospel Teaching Series,” that finally had begun to be published in 2016, with a book entitled: "Brotherly Love: The Gospel of Jesus Christ” – the first of my, so far, six published books in that particular Series. However, my own personal writings (which had turned into these book projects) really started as far back as 1999 . . . Having said that, what I had written for those past 23 years had become the backbone for the book that you are now holding in your hands; for, I must admit, that without that help (my own help!), I would not have been able to have finished this massive project (or, even the Gospel of John Commentary that I had published for Tabernacle Bible College last year) that had initially been written (or, “constructed”) in just a little over 8 months (from approximately March 1st 2022 until about October 18th 2022), the length of time that I had taught these lessons in my class . . . But, even so, that doesn’t mean that all I had done was copy and paste information from my earlier books into this one (for much of this book was written for this class exclusively), it’s just that it was a tremendous help for me to have a good amount of material that I could use that matches what Paul was speaking on in his letter; for, also admittedly, Romans has information in it that I had spoken on quite a bit in my earlier books. My earlier books simply helped me to do this massive project much faster, and have more depth to it, than if I were to simply write all of this from total scratch!
Now, and as far as the following text in this book is concerned, and even though one could pick and choose a random scripture in Romans in which to read my commentary quotes from, this book is rather designed for the reader to take these subjects one step at a time – as I build one scripture from another, from the beginning of the lesson in chapter 1, until the end scripture in chapter 16. Therefore, one would be better-off, and much more informed, if they were to read this book from the front cover to the last . . . That’s just a suggestion . . . But, with whatever route one decides to take, I truly hope that they enjoy the words of this book, which has near 23 years of written lessons within! Or, should I say, rather, that has near 40 years of massive Bible study behind its belt – the length of time, that is, of how long I’ve been studying my Bible.
