Professional Reviews
Warning: do not read this while going to the bathroom!
Mark Tompkins has a talent for being descriptive. I felt like I was in the bathroom with this guy, watching and hearing his agony. I could almost smell what was there ( I don't want to spoil it. You must read it yourself). I usually read thriller novels, but I found this to be a horrific, yet pleasant short story. I'm definately purchasing more of Mr. Tompkins work! Unless you have a strong stomach, do not read this while you are eating or you might end up rushing to the bathroom, and who knows what will happen there.
I couldn't stop reading!
In his bio, Mark Tompkins is described as an author "with a passion for horror, and an unexplainable need to frighten and entertain his readers". Well, he is extremely successful in his aim! I couldn't stop reading, I simply had to know what was going to happen to Mark (the main character, not the author). This is a man's worse nightmare, but I won't add anything. You have to read this story and don't forget to ask your family not to interrupt you
Holy Raunch!!!
I rated this a three star only because this was soo raunchy I couldn't finish it. The author used such graphic descriptions that left little to the imagination....and for me OMG graphic repulsion! Good write, but way too graphic of a description to what I consider a private ordeal.
The fortunate inherit riches, prestige, positive notoriety. Those not so lucky bear legacies filled with poverty, infamy or, worse yet, the unhinged insanity and murderous urges of their ancestors.
