Like so many gay Christians, my faith in God has been strengthened by learning who I am in Christ and accepting His love for me. It's amazing the peace that you feel when you stop pretending, tell the truth, and accept yourself just the way you are. I now trust that God will always love me, and that is the most important thing I needed to hear when I came out. I continue to read God's word to receive His tender love and righteous discipline, knowing that this will lead me to an abundant Christian life. So, although people may be dealing with struggles or turmoil inside, we must not fail to share with them the scriptures that lead them to God's unchanging love.
