Oh, I'm so glad I read it. And, no, I didn't do a quick scan. I read every page-- sometimes more than once.

It reads like a novel and teaches like an enlightened master who only has your personal highest good in mind. It is a teacher with an unplumbed depth of wisdom. An essential read for creating your true life...
I often felt I had a purpose in life but could not quite figure out what it was. Amicus 101 helps guide an individual to do just that! I've read many books on purpose and passion but none compare to Amicus. I usually read this type of book in a couple hours but found shortly after beginning that Amicus 101 is not a book to be read but a book to be done. So, got out my notebook and began. It seemed like the book was custom-made for me, like I was Jay and Amicus was my teacher...there were days I couldn't wait to get home and get to the next lesson. Amicus really became "A. Friend". Before meeting Amicus, I thought I wanted to do something around human rights education but did not take much action as my personal education and experience was in accounting and business. Within 2 months of going through the steps in the book, I was doing human rights workshops in the city of Philadelphia and within a year was invited to do a workshop at the United Nations Teachers Conference on Human Rights in New York. I recommend this book to anyone who wants to tap into their full potential and make their journey through life their own true journey.

The wonderful story of Jay and his life challenges acted as a mirror to the issues I've faced. As I read the book, his story helped me to think through my own challenges with more clarity and perspective. The lessons he learned taught me how to look at my own circumstances and those around me in new ways and helped me see opportunity where there was fear and confusion. This book helped me to challenge myself to become stronger and more useful in my own life and how to inspire others. I tell everyone I know they have to read the book and after they do, we can't stop talking about it.
