Chapter 1
“Why should we worry anyway? In any case am working on this issue and in control of it since I want to make sure that staff is calmed down.”
“Hello! Hello! This is the mayor’s office at the city hall…. how can I help you?” the mayor answered one of those uncommon morning calls while seated at his desk.
It was on a summer season but the day was quite different from others, in that it was a little bit chilly, nevertheless, the staff members were outside their offices, they seemed to be humming songs, and chanting slogans while performing a demonstration.
Near them was fiercely burning fire right at the middle of the road, and this had created morning traffic jam. Their hum was not very clear and no one understood what they were up to, however right at the middle of their chorus, was a clear statement, which was repeated over and over again ‘three months are over, we are not ready for more meals free day!’
The Mayor, Honorable Alexandrovich, was a stout and medium sized gentleman in his late fifties, owner of a big prominent potbelly that suggested good appetite, and a friend of food. His big, red protruding eyes and a countable number of hair strands almost turning hoary made him look older than his actual age.
He loved to wear 1700 Italian Design suits and had no taste for a new fashion. Hon. Alexadrovich limped slightly and liked to laugh loudly while cracking jokes every time even during his office hours. He had a hard heart for top qualifiers within, and underneath his authority reach, and was a stern and a domineering boss.
