This work is the author’s second collection of poetry; his first was Tumbleweeds published by Feather Books in the United Kingdom in 2002. The author’s poetry reflects the struggles of life in addiction, recovery, and his experiences and in the lives of others that he witnessed over the last four decades. His hopes are that his poetry books and other addiction recovery books and manuals will help individuals and family members to get a deeper understanding of the disease of addiction, the solution to the problem, and the program of action that promotes change in the substance abuser. Reverend Dr. Coughlin hopes to provide clarity, understanding, education, prevention, and awareness about addiction and recovery.
Rev. Dr. Kevin T. Coughlin Ph.D. is a co-founder of New Beginning Ministry, Inc. in The Poconos of Pennsylvania, a residential facility and program for men and women struggling with life and addiction problems, and the Founder and CEO of Phase IIC Coaching, LLC, a recovery coaching, life coaching, intervention, and addiction education, awareness, and prevention company. Rev. Dr. Coughlin has been helping to change and save thousands of lives for over two decades. He is a prolific writer, author, poet, speaker, consultant, Master coach, interventionist, Christian therapist, Pastoral Counselor and expert on addiction. His poetry reflects the struggles of life in addiction and recovery in his own life and the lives of others that he has witnessed.

Finding Felicity
Is she dancing through your dreams
or reflecting in your morning coffee?
Maybe she’s hiding in a good book,
or painting a picture outside your window?
She could be at the beach,
or climbing a mountain?
Maybe she went sailing on the sea,
or running in the rain?
I can hear her in your laughter;
she smiles in your eyes.
Please tell me how to find her;
I need to feel her touch.
