SPIRITUAL MEDITATION
When we slow down and unplug from the daily chaos and frenetic energy of the world, it’s easier to focus within. We can be present in the moment, have clarity without distraction. We can experience the Divine within us. We will transfer from flesh and bone to energy and light, pure spirit, as we relax in the present. When we practice any form of spiritual meditation on a daily basis, we will improve our physical, mental, and emotional health. We will also open the main source of wisdom that lives within us.
I recommend that each individual finds what meditations work best for them. A good start would be upon awakening, first thing in the morning, and last thing before sleep. You can also meditate several times throughout the day. Find a quiet place where you will not be disturbed or interrupted. For beginners start with 5 to 10 minutes and work your way up to 30 minutes.
1. Spiritual Breathing: Sit comfortably and close your eyes. Focus on your breathing just as it is. Just be aware of yourself. Focus only on your breathing, don’t allow your thoughts to wander. Breath and air reflect the spirit. The more you practice, the more you will know yourself as spirit. A simple, but very effective meditation.
DAY 1
Faith is a belief that is not purely based on proof, or trust in a person or a thing. Faith can be in religious doctrines or teachings; however, faith does not have to involve religion. Fear is powerful and can destroy lives; however, faith is more powerful than fear! Today I am going to take faith that everything in my life is going to work out just as it is supposed to happen. Fear has no power in my life today!
