A new cast of characters. Another off-world adventure. Destiny awaits.
In this second installment of The Maze Series, readers join Ann, Jace, and Meridia for an adventure that caters to Ann's love of the sea.
When the maze transports the trio to the underwater city of Jeritza, they willingly jump into battle to help save the city, its people and their own lives. On this water world, the Jeritzians cultivate and replenish damaged reefs while working with local sea life to maintain a harmonious existence.
Ann revels in this aquatic way of living where miniature shrimp serve as toothbrushes, ghastly anglerfish are employed as nightlights and jellyfish are multifunctional. The fast pace harvest games provide food and entertainment for the city's residents, as well as, playtime with the dolphins.
While Jace flounders in the water and Meridia scoffs at the strict rules of society, Ann feels as if she has come home. Amid the chaos, love blossoms, new friendships develop and old friends part ways in search of their own adventures in the maze.

“I’m real sorry about our…,” Jace paused and his mouth twisted in disgust, “friend,” he finally got out.
Mabel smiled. “Honey, she’s about as much a friend as a rabid dawg is to a baby bunny.”
He laughed. “You’ve only grazed the surface.”
Mabel crooked a finger at him, her light brown eyes dancing with mischief. “Maybe you should take your—um—friend up to see the maze. It’s quite an attraction and if you are lucky, ya just might be able to lose her in it.”
“A maze?” Jace asked, his interest peaking.
“Ayuh and a large one at that. The stone walls cover ten acres; top the mesa just outside town. Head down the main drag ‘til ya see the sign. It’ll be on your left.”
“Sounds like fun,” he admitted.
“Can be, but be careful. People been known to disappeah after going in. You should keep that green-eyed pixie close. The other…,” she shrugged and grinned, “well….”
“Gotcha.”
