Excerpt

There are many serious issues in India. With increasing population, inflation, and unemployment, there is no sign of relief, even from government policies. The farmers are committing suicide in many states either because of natural calamities or government policies.
The students are committing suicide in the cities, which are known as educational hub of the country. Specially, they are far from home for preparation of national level competitive exams. They stay in Paying guest houses, lodges, hostels or in rented rooms without any moral support. Tremendous pressure to succeed causes a break in their resilience, loneliness and fear of failure sucks and they see suicide can become the only accepted solution.
Due to living beyond their means, for endless desires or false social status, servicemen are getting trapped in debt. Personal, car, home, and education loans are just a few of the things that get people into debt.
Competition is tough in the business world; business men are worried about their children’s future. They believe having a job is better for providing for their family than owning a business. The economy gets worse year after year. Industries do not have the capacity to provide jobs for everyone that needs work.
Many students pursue the same field, engineering, making the competition for jobs worse. Every year, private engineering colleges and universities are growing in numbers, but are unable to provide quality education. These institutions are getting government recognition, even without the required infrastructure; like playgrounds, laboratories and libraries. Most of the engineers from these expensive institutions are still unable to find a suitable job, if they find one at all. Mostly, they sit idle in their homes, or run around searching for employment. When they are exhausted in their efforts to get a job, they feel defeated and commit suicide.
Everyday, people are waking up to a worse nightmare than the day before. Years of unexpected setbacks, such as no career growth, no job, low income, or not getting hired for the seemingly perfect job, are starting to take their toll. Family drama, workplace politics, excessive workload, lifestyle changes, and lack of sleep are some common causes of depression. This depression is silently killing many, with hypertension, heart disease, and diabetes.
Meanwhile, sycophants (bootlickers, chumchas) are enjoying their life, getting higher salaries and better facilities than those who are working hard in good faith for the organizations.
All these situations have caused me sadness, which inspired me to guide these people who don't find motivation, are without support in crisis situations, and lose hope. These are the ones that commit suicide because they are weak emotionally.
Do these seemingly endless problems really exist? Don't we have any solutions? Maybe we just don’t know how to handle these critical situations. In this book, you will find the answers to such questions.
“Mindset and Passion—The Psychology of Success,” is neither a psychological book nor a philosophical one. It would be unjust to treat it like a book. It’s not a book; it’s a guide, a practical approach to success.
Success, happiness, and satisfaction are not just a matter of luck, knowledge, or hard work, but are rather the result of the psychological, philosophical, and managerial skills of a person. This book is like an energy-boosting drink that you must consume wholeheartedly every morning. The key ingredients of this cocktail are dreams, willpower, and passion.
This book will help you understand why you may still think yourself defeated despite of reading so many inspirational books, watching thousands of inspirational videos, and listening to many motivational speakers.
This book will help you in understanding how your thoughts and regular practice of doing good, shapes your habits. It will show you the path to success by helping you eliminate the root causes of your failures .
You will learn how to get the right mindset and passion to become successful in your day-to-day affairs. This book will help you recognize situations where you feel low, and guide you in how to convert your negativity into positivity through affirmations and self-talk.
This book is equally important for everyone, no matter who you are or which profession you are in. It can be helpful to the students, guardians, businessmen, servicemen, self-employed, and professionals.
