This revelation destines to change Izzy's life forever. She & Dee quickly become sleuths attempting to solve the ‘Double Initial Murders’ from their childhood.
Izzy sacrifices more than she can cope with and Dee avenges her best friend by acting on clues. Ethel the Pug gets involved in this adventurous caper that will have you chuckling as well as crying in this two-part Novella. The second part of the story is set in Long Neck Delaware. It is a section of numerous waterfront communities, located on the Indian River Bay that is filled to the brim with manufactured homes.

Cold Case In Cape May (Izzy Short Story Series (Novella)Book 3),while being part of a series, I found I was able to read it as a stand alone story. Two long term friends, Izzy and Dee, reunite for friendly short visit and what ensues no one could have foreseen. They become involved in a cold case murder investigation and find themselves in danger.
The story is well told and moves very quickly. The setting is appealing and the characters are interesting. I enjoyed reading this novella.

Since I love lighthouses I felt drawn to read and review, "Cold Case in Cape May". Also since I'm a Private Investigator it had extra appeal. I loved reading about the setting in Cape May. The
ferry ride reminded me of my own ferry rides and my 2 years living in New England.
The author fleshed out the characters pretty well and she created conflicts that were used to build the suspense.
A big event toward the end of the book was not described. It was left to the readers imagination. I would have liked to know more about what exactly happened to this character.
I found this book easy to read. It flowed easily from one chapter to the next. I noticed small
editorial errors. I wanted to find out how this book ended and how the character got out of her
predicament. There were many coincidences which were not entirely believable although I know strange things happen in life. It's hard to suspend my belief in this story when there are too many of them. Also, since I'm a private investigator, I would write this story knowing the legal system and how this case would in reality be investigated. Even though people do take things into their own hands, some of the results of their undertaking weren't believable.
However, it's a nice story. The setting, and the cold case plot hold it together fairly well.
