Very funny
As I read this book with my children last night, we all tremendously loved it as we laughed all through the story. Even if there is a serious side to this book, particularly when the piranha gets flushed down the drain or when you realize that he has to eat goldfish to survive, but then the twist to the story which I don't think I should reveal because it would be a spoiler, but let me tell you the ending is top-notch.

This children's book is unlike any other I've ever read before. The story is original and is infused with some beautiful life lessons. Class as an animal lover I simply adored the fact that right at the start of the book, it encourages people to adopt older cats and dogs instead of buying them from Pet Shops. It is done and in such a natural Wayne leading to the main story of the piranha with the goldfish. Any child is sure to fall in love with the two main characters that are absolutely adorable.

I did not know what to offer my neighbors young daughter for Christmas. I did not want to give her some silly toy that makes noise, and that will break within a week. I wanted something original and educational, and that is when I thought of maybe giving her a book. I stumbled upon the not so bad piranha, and because it was on a free promotion, I got to read the book myself. I adored and fell in love with the two principal characters which are the piranhas and the goldfish. The fact that it showed how anyone deserves a second chance and anyone can change no matter what, was for me, a crucial lesson that my neighbor's daughter could learn. I also font that the fact that the female goldfish is such an influential female figure that it might help my neighbor's daughter to stand up for herself a little more since she is a little bit stuck in her shell. I am delighted that I stumbled upon this book because I think it will make a great Christmas gift.
