Congratulations on your biography of Browning Ross. I never heard of him, that's probably why it's important that you did the scholarship necessary to write about his life. I consider myself a long-distance runner. Actually running until my 21st birthday, not achieving any acclaim but enjoying the ability to move quickly through my environment. After that, for the last 55 years running a different race, at first partially paralyzed, but still able to walk great distances, until getting in a wheelchair 27 years ago and then going only where power wheelchairs go.
But I still long for those carefree running days. Or even able to walk. You are lucky to be able to run and to write about it.
