Mr. and Mrs. Darcy's children are grown now, married with little children. They are respectable members of society, witty and handsome. They are also close as brothers and sisters to Colonel Fitzwilliam's children.
Colonel Fitzwilliam's children - in comparison to the Darcy's perfect offspring - are a mess. The Fitzwilliam Mob frequently argue, fall in love and encounter troubles wherever they roam.
Linking both families is the marriage of Darcy's son to Fitzwilliam's daughter, making the families joined in more ways than one.

5 Stars * The third book in this series is wonderful and will cause you to laugh and cry as our blended family ages.
You will not be disappointed in this third book of the series. It was all I had hoped it would be. I fell very much in love with this wonderful family in book two and couldn't put this one down until I finished it in the early hours of the morning. The lives we weave and the pain we experience as life goes on shapes all of us. I felt sure one of our "favorite four characters" would leave us in this book. The first generation was aging and I was just glad it was not my favorite. I won't tell you who, it would spoil it for you. But life goes on and the second and third generations move into the spotlight as they come into their own. Even really bad decisions can actually turn out right and I appreciate that Karen didn't disappoint us. Each time people arise who are a part of lives of the Colonel and military "boys" ,of both families, it brings levity and life to the story. Though the stories of those war years were usually about all the "fun" they had, it was nice to also see them reflect on the horrors they lived through and how it had changed them. The Bingleys return with a unique relative who tries to attach herself to one of our loveable characters. I could just see the events at the opera unfolding before my eyes and I laughed until I cried. Bridget, Alex, James, Judith and Lady Peake are delightful additions. Karen, we are anxiously awaiting more from your pen, please do not disappoint us.
5 Stars * The hilarious dialogue sets these stories apart from the rest
I read the first two stories of this series a while back but it was hard to forget all the amazing characters and funny moments once I started reading this story. It's true the dialogue is what sets this apart and I found myself putting the book down just to laugh. The laughs mostly came from Fitzwilliam and Darcy, now two cantankerous and hilarious older men (especially Fitz). I think that relationship is what makes this series so amazing. The things they say to each other are hilarious, and yet they're there for each other like brothers.
Of course we have a whole lot of new characters with the children marrying and providing grandchildren for our favorite couples. Yes there are a couple of deaths in this book, one before the book begins and one halfway through. Very sad but a very plausible scenario. As for two of the main focuses of this book, Matthew Fitzwilliam and Bridget Morgan....I honestly didn't find myself sympathizing with them. Just my opinion but I didn't really root for them in any way lol. I rooted for Anne Marie and Jamie and saw that coming from the beginning.
Can't wait to read another installment if there is to be one. There has to be! In the meantime this one made me want to re-read the first two!

Another winner by Ms. Wasylowski! I love this series! I've read numerous P&P variations and this series a one of the best. All three books in this series are packed with humor, along with the most interesting and witty story telling I've read in quite awhile. Following Darcy, Fitzwilliam and their families through out the years, watching their children and grandchildren (and laughing all the way) grow was so much fun. I truly hope there is a book 4 and 5 and 30.
