You’d be surprised at how much pain we harbor in secret. We can fool one another. We can dress ourselves in success and happiness, so much that people envy everything we have. And beneath the validation of all of those “likes” and “comments,” our injustices, abuse, and pain remain unconfronted, slowly unraveling.
With this in mind, I’ve decided to give you the most reliable formula that I can: truth. I hope you didn’t come here looking for my assurance of your happy-ending. I will not give that to you, because I do not have yours. This is not your hiding place.

By far, best book I have read in quite sometime. With every page you get to connect with the author. Her most intimate moments, such as heartbreaks, guilt, and pain are written for the world to see. She bares it all. Definitely recommend it!

This book is so raw.... so real. You can feel every emotion she was experiencing with every word she wrote. I respect that she was able to make magic out of her wounds. she stripped her soul naked, and it's beautiful. Read the entire book in just over an hour. read every little bit carefully and gave myself time to feel every word. The only one thing I did notice is the format of the text and symbols was a little odd, and I am not sure if it was a printing error, was not edited enough before release, or it was meant to look choppy and messy since this is her diary. Either way, I enjoyed her book and would definitely recommend to anyone who still has doubts if they should purchase or not.
