Excerpt
The sun smiled bright as Jellibean opened her eyes. She stretched a great big morning stretch and smiled right back. It was time to continue her adventures so up she jumped to start the day. After her B3 routine of bathing, breakfast, and brushing her teeth, Jellibean packed everything up and continued on her way.
A blue bird singing a happy tune joined her as she began her journey. Jellibean offered him some of the bread left from the morning along with a handful of sunflower seeds. He happily accepted and continued to travel with her singing a tune that turned her steps into skips.
She’d brought a few of her favorite books, so after several hours of traveling, she stopped beside a river and chose a bright green one from her wagon. She was lost in the pages of a silly circus story about a happy clown with an elephant best friend when a voice broke the silence.
“He…hello?” inquired the small, uncertain voice.
