A real page turner! The concept fits right into the fears of our modern world. Fears of technology and science excaping our morals and being used against us. The author draws us in with rich, fully realized characters and then takes us on a fast paced journey to save the world!

This is a detective story with several unusual twists and numerous subplots. A relatively unknown Indian virologist and his beautiful companion go missing one night in London. His police escort has been drugged and the Met Police's communication network compromised to facilitate the abduction and prevent detection. There's a bigger story than meets the eye. Indeed, a story that could have a profound impact on the world if the research gets into the wrong hands. Enter Charles Burns, a Canadian ex-special forces veteran and now Met Police trainer. Although not officially assigned to the detective unit, Burns' specialist skills and experience get to the heart of the matter. This is a fast-paced novel, the whole event lasts one thrilling, breath-taking weekend. For a first novel, the complexity of the plot, the action, and the depth of the main characters makes this a real page-turner. For a first novel, this is truly ambitious and the author pulls it off brilliantly. Looking forward to the next one.
