My goal was not to paint the worst picture of modern addiction but to give American Junkies suffering from SUD a reason to pause. Hopefully, the afflicted will relate to the material in a personal way that leads to recovery.
Substance Use Disorder is a disease and is curable. No one needs to suffer or die from this disorder anymore.
Connection is the opposite of addiction. I believe we can help each other. "American Junkies helping American Junkies.

Veins
Pulse
In To My
Core.
What?
It's not there?
Life's unfair!
Can't stop;
Can't go on.
In despair!
Seriously-
I Don't Wanna Die!
But it's been like this for so long
I Don't Wanna Lie
Cause lying is ummmm. Just wrong?
I'll give truth a try-
Okay?
I like
Junk that way
Hell -
I like junk all-day
What?

I just keep on shooting
Searching high...

Okay I'm just looking for a higher high
Cause I can't stop

Shooting fish in a barrel;

Do I stop and pray?
