In a distant galaxy, a small cluster of stars are ruled by magicians. Gallipoli, a star in the centre of the galaxy, has two opposing kingdoms. Marvaria is ruled by benevolent witches, while Penagonia is ruled by evil warlocks.
Elgard, a young Wand Lord, works for the Marvarian Witches and has inherited an arcane formula from his ancestors. The formula, Potens’ Hand possesses magical powers that enhance the strength of the wands it creates and the witches use these wands for kindness and healing.
One day, the formula is stolen and passed to the evil Warlock King. When the Wand Lord discovers this, he is consumed by guilt. Realizing that it must be in the hands of the warlocks, he decides he cannot tell his Queen. Instead, he must risk a journey through the dangerous Valley of Dragonia that lies between Marvaria and the dark Kingdom of Shadows. He confides in his two young workshop assistants and warns them not to follow him. However, they are also his friends and, ignoring his wishes, become part of an incredible quest to retrieve Potens’ Hand.

After many oras without sleep, Elgard is exhausted. However, he is confident that the creature he saw in the sky is the culprit. He is also convinced that the Warlock King sent the beast. The formula must now be in the darkest and most terrifying place Penagonia! It is Murphin in Marvaria, several deons after the disappearance of Potens'Hand. It is now up to Elgard to prevent total destruction.
