Cass Andre creates a hero to die for! While her secret heart's desire might be Austin Gray, he's the last thing DeLanie Winters needs in her life. Now a widower, DeLanie finds it hard to keep Austin at arms length and continue to keep the secret she's hidden for sixteen years. Andre's historical voice flows neatly, transporting the reader back to 1861 without the bumpy ride of many other books of the genre.
