like me, spent many days and nights
pondering over the loves we've been through
Maybe we say, we should have been this way
If only, we state, we could communicate
and then we hope, if only we could cope
But love is for fools who want dreams to prevail
in a world built on deceit, and love is for sale
Love is the ultimate expression of concern
it is beyond the physical, and takes time to learn
If it seems hard, and you're not up for the task
don't settle for half ass, look behind the mask
make sure you both have objectives in tact
