At the tender age of five, I was already dreaming of making my living as an artist when I grew up. That dream stayed with me throughout my childhood and into adulthood until I made it my reality. I have a few reasons for writing this book. It is my hope that by sharing my journey, you will be inspired to follow your dreams and passions. I also hope that you’ll save some of your precious time and possibly money by learning from my mistakes and from other experiences shared by way of my marketing tips. In addition, I’ve been teaching a class titled The Business of Art Workshop for several years at colleges, universities and cultural centers. By writing this book, I can share far more information than I could in those short class sessions.
