Crikey it’s hot sittin’ up ‘ere
It’s time I got me supper
Lemme see, strewth that one’s nice,
Yum! Luverly gumleaf tucker.
Hmm, there’s a nice bunch o’ leaves
Much higher up this trunk
I’d better be real careful coz
Eucalyptus makes me drunk.
I like to sit and doze all day
And scratch and yawn and sigh
But I have to look real pretty
When human pass me by.
Boy, the goin’s rough, I huff ‘n puff,
It’s only a little farther
To reach those leaves to munch and crunch
Life’s tough for a Koala!
