oh to ease the pain
the pain that has no reason
the blade is so thin
the release so great
the warmth as the blood crawls down
the trail of crimson
so inviting, so peaceful
hypnotized by the sight of it
growing weak from the drain
it's so beautiful
the sight of life leaving life
the release of the pain
with a deep sigh
and a small grin
it's over
rest in peace pain

Repair
dark despair fills the soul
hurt and anger fuel the flames
pains builds and emotions rage
the walls that were built
begin to fall
crumbling to dust
along with it goes the heart
broken to a million pieces
swept away with the desolate wind
that now blows with in the soul
stop and take a look
look into the vastness of a broken heart
see the holes that others left behind
now look into your heart
take a piece of yours and place it here
it may not be perfect
but you've begun the rebuilding
and hopefully will finish it

Darkness engulfs me as the light begins to fade
loneliness surrounds me and intertwines with the pain
I reach out for your hand to guide me thru the confusion
I reach out for you to help me make it thru
Do you see me?
Do you see my hand out stretched?
Do you hear my calls into the dark?
As the darkness grows my confusion grows too there is pain and fear
Why must I suffer in this cold realm?
Why must I forge this path alone?
I reach for you but no one is there.
Were all my travels in vein?
Am I blind?
Or are you just a memory that I brought back to life
Oh no; there really is no one there
my mind has done it again
these tricks it plays and its wicked ways
damn you mind
and damn you heart for these wicked games
For when tomorrow goes will I still be here;
Waiting in the darkness?
Reaching out my hand toward a fantasy?
Or will I have succumbed to the evils that lurk within the shadows?
Till tomorrow my sweet
sleep now and we will see

faerie thoughts from the past
I close my eyes
and dream a dream
of faeries all a glow
of elves and gnomes
dancing around
as pixies tend the ground
the morning dew
gets them drunk
as the sun begins to rise
and to thier homes
in wonderland
is where they travel to
until the sun sets again
they hide from our dismay
and when the moon is shinning bright
they return again to play

the world spins around me
as i sit and watch
content in my little spot
satisfied with my view
i watch as people walk by
with worries in thier heads
i play as they pass
i dream while they work
at peace i am in my little spot
at peace in my corner of the world
"don't let life pass you by"
they say
but yet they don't realize "pass me by"
it does not
i take in everything
learn from my mistakes
teach others from my past
life i am living
and life i am giving
so as i sit and watch
the world spin around me
i live my life and learn my dreams
only to pass it on to you my friends
to give you the wisdom
which i have learned
so you too
can sit and watch
as the world spins around you
